Chen taijiquan seminar with Wang Yan 王岩

About a teacher:

Wang Yan was born in 1990. After a baishi ceremony to his teacher, Master Chen Ziqiang, he became a member of 21st generation of the Chen family. For a decade, he was continuously taught and guided by his master, and was not just a talented student, but also a very diligent and commited one, capable of putting relentless effort into his Taijiquan practice. Wang Yan became one of the best fighters of his generation. He is a national sanda champion, and International Taiji Tuishou champion, winning the greatest number of competitions in the Chenjiagou Taijiquan School’s history. He is also a member of the Chenjiagou Taiji Boxing Organizing Committee, a national level referee, and one of the Chenjiagou “Nine Tigers“.

He already has about fifteen years of teaching experience – he became the assistant coach in Chenjiagou Taijiquan School in 2008, and since 2013 has undertaken the duties of head coach. In 2011 he started to teach on seminars abroad, travelling to France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Uzbekhistan.

Since 2022 he has been leading the branch of Chenjiagou Taijiquan school in Hefei City, Anhui Province.

The seminar program:

Friday, 18th October:

• 18.00 – 21.00 Jibengong (basics of movement in Taijiquan)

Saturday, 19th October:

• 10.00 – 13.00 Laojia Yilu (Old Form, first routine)
• 15.00 – 18.00 Laojia Yilu

Sunday, 20th October:

• 10.00 – 13.00 Laojia Yilu
• 15.00 – 18.00 Tuishou (Pushing hands)

Location:

• Gendai center, Leskoškova 6, Ljubljana

Registration, prices and payment:

• The seminar is divided into 5 training sessions lasting three hours.

Price:

• Early registration and payment up to and including September 10^th: 60 € per training unit.
• Registration and payment after September 10^th: 70 € per training unit.

In addition, we also offer individual lessons with Wang Yan (apply till the 20th of September).

Payment (together with the application form) must be made to bank account of Society YinYang.

In the case of a subsequent cancellation of the participant, the organizer will retain 50 % of the paid registration fee.

In the case of cancellation by the organizer, the registration fee paid to the participant is returned in full.
